ShowingTime to Require Multi-Factor Authentication 8/25
Updated: Aug 19

ShowingTime has announced that they will require all users to log in with multi-factor authentication (MFA) beginning Tuesday, August 25, 2026.
ShowingTime's decision reflects a broader, industry-wide push to strengthen account security and protect the listing and showing data MLS members rely on every day. While we know this is an occasional extra step and sympathize with the frustration of change, we also understand the decision that ShowingTime has made. MFA is simply the easiest, most effective ways to keep bad actors out of accounts that hold sensitive information.

Please note that ShowingTime will be using the email address on file in your ShowingTime profile to send you the MFA code. Please update your ShowingTime profile as soon as possible to ensure you have the correct email address in place.
ACCESSING SHOWINGTIME VIA THE MLS LAUNCHPAD
Note that this change does NOT affect you if you are accessing ShowingTime via the MLS Launchpad. This is because the MLS LaunchPad uses a single sign-on (SSO) security and therefore authenticates in one go.
ACCESSING SHOWINGTIME VIA THE SHOWINGTIME IOS OR ANDROID APP
Logging into the ShowingTime app on your mobile device is where you will notice this change. On Monday, you will be prompted to set up your multi-factor authentication (MFA).
