Beginning Tuesday, December 12, the offer of compensation fields in the MLS will be displayed when sharing the public version of the CHS Full Report outside of MLS.
This change encompasses 3 different fields: Buyers Agency Compensation, Transaction Broker Compensation, Sub-Agency Compensation and the percentage or dollar amount selector for each.
Allowing consumers to understand the offer of compensation aligns with many pro-competitive and transparency-enhancing changes happening in our industry.
Compensation information is already allowed to be displayed via IDX (Internet Data Exchange) for members that wish to display it.
The MLS cannot fix, control, recommend, suggest or maintain the division of commissions or fees between cooperating participants or between participants and non-participants.
